Printing Digital Photos
With a high quality image file (determined when the photo is taken), digital images can be successfully printed either on a home inkjet/laser printer or by a photo lab. Images printed on home inkjet and laser printers usually require less information than Digital Photographic Prints as shown in the table below. A good quality 4x6 on a home printer could be printed from a 135KB file. For true photographic quality output, a 300KB .JPG file is recommended for a 4x6 print.

Digital Camera Files:
Most digital camera images are proportionally sized as 4x5.4". To avoid image loss and cropping, we recommend choosing this ratio/size when printing.

File Format Recommendations
Follow these guidelines for optimum quality prints.
