In-Store Ordering at a Creative Kiosk
Our in-store Creative Kiosks are powerful computers that are created specifically for ordering products like photo books or calendars. Sit down and follow along with the kiosk as it walks you through the building process step by step. Our staff will also be on hand to help you create your custom products.

Online Ordering
Ordering online can be very simple - however it all depends on factors such as the quality of your computer, your Internet connection, your image file sizes and the quantity of images you are using. We recommend following the TIPS below before building your photo book online.

If you are having difficulties creating a book or calendar online, we recommend coming in to one of our stores to build your product on an in-store kiosk.

Tip #1: Organize your images first
We recommend organizing all your images into one location/folder on your computer or media. You may even want to rename them numerically so they appear in order when it’s time to create your book or calendar. You are able to choose the placement of the photos on the pages, however, having them in order before you start creating will save you time.

Tip #2: Check your Image file sizes
We suggest having image files between 1-3MB (2200x1700 pixels per image). It is very important that your image files are not too large for our building software to support, large files will slow the process of both uploading and creation.
(Downsizing your files will not affect the quality of your book when it is printed.)

bullet Download & save PhotoResize1500HO.exe to your desktop (no set-up required).
bullet Drag and drop JPG files or folders with JPG files on the application icon.
bullet The tool will resize JPG images and save them next to the originals. Names of the new pictures will be based on the original names, with a suffix indicating their size. For example, the resized version of MyPhoto.jpg will be called MyPhoto-1500.jpg, where the number 1500 indicates the size of the picture. This size is more than sufficient for book or calendar creating.

  Tip #3: Limit text
Simple, meaningful text can enhance the look of a photo book, however too much text can really take away from the quality of your piece. We suggest limiting the text you place into your book to less than 3 lines per page. Remember the photos are what tells the story.

Sorry, text is not available on calendars at this time.

  Tip #4: Limit editing
We recommend pre-editing your images before beginning your project. Intense editing can slow down the building software if you try to edit your images at the same time you are creating your custom product.

Every computer monitor is unique - therefore your final photo product may look different than it did on your monitor. Our digital artists will examine each image on every page and adjust color if needed.
